Matlock Bath Pro Loco Art Competition

Masson Mills are again sponsoring this year's Pro Loco competition, which runs from 6th February 2012. Entrants will have until 25th May 2012 to produce a spectacular scene or artefact of Matlock Bath.

The parish of Matlock Bath holds the Matlock Bath Pro Loco art competition annually. The Pro Loco Collection, on permanent public display in the Conference Centre at Masson Mills, consists of the winning paintings from each year in chronological order from 1980 up to the present, providing a fascinating insight into the parish of Matlock Bath over the years.

All entrants should register by completing an entry form on line at www.matlockbathparishcouncil.gov.uk or by contacting the Parish Clerk (clerk@matlockbathparishcouncil.gov.uk) who will send a paper copy of the entry form.

All completed work will need to be 'dropped off' at a central place in the village. Further details concerning this will be sent to entrants upon registration. Work will be shortlisted and displayed in the Pump Room on Monday 4th June where members of the public will be invited to vote for their favourites. The votes will be counted and a ceremony to present prizes will be held on Tuesday 5th June in the Pump Room.
