Jacquard loom in Weaving Shed

Jaquard looms represent a further development in weaving techniques. These Jaquard looms were made by George Hattersley & Sons, Keighley, West Yorkshire, in the 1920’s.

They have a magazine of 6 shuttles thus enabling them to weave very complex patterns when combined with the Jaquard mechanism situated above the loom.
