Wheels are turning in Cromford!

Cromford is kicking off the Derbyshire Makes Festival this spring.

From water wheels and spinning wheels to dance wheels and big, bold ideas about the future, this joyful celebration of shared making brings the whole area to life.

Centred around Cromford Mills, with activity across Cromford village, Masson Mills and Aqueduct Cottage, you can wander welcoming stalls, try weaving, printmaking or ceramics, explore moving machinery, follow a sculptural Art Wilding Trail through the village, or get hands-on with forest crafts by the canal.

Expect music, poetry, mini worlds, heritage in motion and plenty of have-a-go moments.
