About the workshop
Wet felting is an ancient art form where layers of wool fibres are worked together using warm water, soap and a little bit of elbow grease.
This workshops have been developed to provide a quiet morning of creativity and gentle tuition and this is the ideal introduction to 3D wet felting. You will be creating your very own bespoke bowl, glasses case or phone pouch. It is suitable for either beginners, or those who want to improve their skills.
With 3D wet felting we build layers of wool fibres around a plastic resist to create a seam-free bag or bowl that requires absolutely no sewing.
If you have any allergies or skin sensitivity please bring your own soap on the day – any type
Please bring a small old towel and a plastic bag to take your wet bowl home in

Needle Felted Pumpkins

Needle felting is an ancient art form where layers of wool fibres are worked together using special needles.
This workshops have been developed to provide a quiet morning of creativity and gentle tuition and this is the ideal introduction to 3D needle felting. You will be creating your very own pumpkins and mice. This workshop is suitable for either beginners, or those who want to improve their skills.
With 3D needle felting we build layers of wool fibres using special felting needles and blend the colours of wool to create unique pumpkins.
Meeting point & refreshments
The workshop will be held in the ‘Manager’s Office’ within the Masson Mills’ Visitor Centre. A hot drink & cake are included. Drinks, snacks, cakes and light lunches are available in the Visitor Centre.
Accessibility
